NARENDRA MODI STADIUM-Is he becoming a dictator

As many of you who have clicked on this know that the formerly known Motera stadium in Ahmadabad was renovated and  now is the largest cricket stadium in the world has been renamed Narendra Modi stadium.

Now i get it he is the prime minister of the nation , the most vocal prime minister, the most respected all over the world, one of the most powerful people and the fact that he can kill me for writing this but i don't give a shit about it.

The fact remains that he is not slowly but surely turning into a dictator , you may laugh at me and be like bla bla bla a random guy talking on the internet. But right now he is still alive and running, i remember the last time someone naming things and creating her statues in Uttar Pradesh was ripped off her powers the next term.

This is not the first time something like this has happen there are many more cases but the truth is those names are put because they have died serving the country not put by themselves while still in power.

And the most annoying part is the complex is known as SARDAR VALLABHAI PATER SPORTS COMPLEX now you have put a legends name and then a current leader of the nation's name .Whatever the case is you cannot put your own name on a stadium constructed under your leadership, the last time a person did that was none other than ADOLF HITLER.

I am not stating that Modi is a dictator but this looks like dictatorship, in my point of view a democracy without a good opposition turns is similar to dictatorship.Currently our nation lacks a good opposition that is the root cause of NDA government implementing whatever they want to, we need to stop this reign of Modi. Even the president of our country was appointed by our prime minister himself I am sure no one herd of RAM NATH KOVIND before he became the president, he was literally made president to obey NDA gov's order.

We even see what happens in different states when the margin between the leading party and NDA government is very less,it is always the NDA forming the government. what will you call it,and i have not even touched secularism yet,and that is a topic to discuss another day.

You may think i am hyping it, it is just the name of the stadium and all but i really think that what has happen in past few years just doesn't sound democratic at all. The gov is implementing whatever it wants to and not even considering people or oppositions views .

This is the only reason i think that this gov is turning into a dictator and his Wasir's(referring to ancient Mugal court) rule.I think i will stop here, already spoken a lot of shit .

Let me know what do you think,is it true?? or an i just a lunatic on the internet??

  5. Dear Sid
First of all; a very well written piece. My congratulations on your style and skill. You articulate your thoughts very well. My congratulations also on your criticism of a sitting Prime Minister, not many do so. The flow of thoughts demonstrates a natural skill of writing. You need to write more, we need more your caliber. Thank you.

I would still contest your thought. A stadium named after a sitting PM is technically an embarrassment for PM. I am sure this will come out some day. Its a stupid idea and needs to be dealt with that approach. I would have loved your thoughts on his work on reforms that he has done. The struggle he has faced to do good of the country and very same people turning up against him. Your article lacks that assessment. I am not telling you how to write, I am suggesting what to consider before arriving at a grave conclusion of dictator. You deserve your own analysis.

A dictator would not have a more than 50% of media against him. There is tons of writing in India against him. How do you explain that piece? I would suggest to consider that in your analysis.

His schemes have reached the poor. Sanitation, basic banking, water taps etc are some extraordinary work he has done. A dictator would not do that kind of stuff.

I look forward to your future writing. I am excited by your style and gumption. Never let that go away. All the best!

    regards
    Rakesh Dalwani
